The former site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions was originally Huizhou Guild Hall. From 1925 to 1927, it was the office of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. In May 1925, the second National Labor Conference was held in Guangzhou. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the unified leading body of trade unions of the Chinese working class was established. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions was established and approved, and 25 people including Lin Weimin, Liu Shaoqi, Deng Zhongxia, Su Zhaozheng, Li Lisan, Li Sen, Liu Ersong, were elected as executive members; Lin Weimin, Liu Shaoqi and Deng Zhongxia respectively served as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary General. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions was the first leading body of national trade unions under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. After its establishment, the Federation led Shanghai“May Thirtieth” Movement against the imperialists and the Guangzhou-Hong Kong strike, united nationwide workers to launch workers’ movement, vigorously developed trade union organizations, and effectively demonstrated the revolutionary power of the working class under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
